Objective of Chief Minister Employment Generation Programme

The Chief Minister Employment Generation Programme (“CMEGP“)’s main goal is to generate 1 lac micro and small enterprises during the next five years. Furthermore, this approach will result in the establishment of employment opportunities. For the first fiscal year, 8 to 10 lakh young people will be employed. To achieve this purpose, the industrial directorate will assign district-specific targets to the agencies. The aim would be apportioned based on population, unemployment, resource availability, upcoming technology, and district backwardness.
