International Copyright Registration
The International Copyright Order safeguards the copyright of citizens or government bodies that are members of the Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works, the Universal Copyright Convention, and thus India’s TRIPS Agreement. As a result, works from the countries covered by the International Copyright Order are protected in the same way as Indian works are protected in India. India has also joined several international copyright conventions to provide copyright protection for Indian works in foreign countries.
Protection for Indian Copyright in Foreign Countries
