Beauty salons, fitness centers, and gyms with an annual aggregate turnover of more than Rs.20 lakhs (Rs.10 lakhs in the Special Category States) must register for GST. Because beauty parlors and gyms provide intra-state services, GST registration would be necessary only after they crossed the threshold. In addition, service tax-registered beauty salons, fitness centers, and gyms will be required to undergo GST migration.

If a fitness center is involved in the supply of services and goods, such as selling cosmetics, protein powders, and so on, GST registration is required if goods are supplied via e-commerce or goods are sold to individuals in the Other States.
